Leslie DarrowLeslie Darrow is a licensed Health Facility Administrator in the State of Indiana and a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Illinois.  She has worked in the healthcare arena, managing various levels of residential senior living and long-term care for 25 years.  Currently, Ms. Darrow is proud to be serving as the Executive Director of Hartsfield Village Continuing Care Retirement Community and as the Vice President of Post-Acute Services for Powers Health.

Leslie has a wealth of experience in the field of post-acute rehabilitation, assisted living, skilled nursing settings, memory care service lines, and home health services.

Leslie has held various professional positions at nursing facilities in the southeast suburbs of Illinois and Central Indiana ranging from consulting to operations.

Leslie has a bachelor’s degree in both psychology and political science from Indiana University.  She prides herself on operating facilities that offer extraordinary patient care and experience, crediting her professional accomplishments to her passion for wanting to increase the quality of life for the aging population in her community.

 

Susan FinnSusan Seydel is a licensed Nursing Home Administrator in the State of Illinois and a licensed Health Facility Administrator in the State of Indiana. She has worked in the healthcare field in various capacities for nearly 20 years. Currently, Susan is thrilled to be serving as the Administrator for the Rehabilitation Center at Hartsfield Village.

Susan has a bachelor’s degree in health planning & administration from the University of Illinois and a master’s degree in health finance & administration from the University of St. Francis. Susan began her career with the Joint Commission. After receiving her master’s degree she transitioned into management of skilled nursing and rehabilitation facilities. Susan has a wealth of experience managing facilities with specialized programs dedicated to sub-acute rehabilitation, dementia care and long-term residential nursing care. Susan is a recent recipient of the Eli Pick Facility Leadership Award, which recognizes outstanding leadership in long-term care.

Susan prides herself on operating facilities that offer the very highest quality of patient care and customer service for the patients, residents and families of Hartsfield Village.

 

Larissa RudloffLarissa Rudloff serves as the Clinical Director of Operations with over 25 years of clinical experience.  Larissa’s professional career includes both staff and administrative positions in various areas of patient care including hospital settings, long-term care and home care services.

She has also held Director of Nursing and consultative positions for 20+ years in Alzheimer’s assisted living and skilled nursing/post-acute rehabilitation facilities.  An alumna of Purdue University, she earned both an associate degree and BSN, and she holds a license as a registered nurse in both Indiana and Illinois.

Larissa obtained her Residential Care Administrator license in 2019 and currently serves as the Administrator of Senior Living at Hartsfield Village.

Larissa’s passion for geriatrics has been a constant thread throughout her career.  She has a unique combination of acute nursing experience and proven managerial skills.  Larissa’s leadership focuses on providing compassionate, quality health care to our residents and patients in all types of post-acute settings.

 

jolene gelardenJolene Gelarden is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a master’s degree in science as a family nurse practitioner from Purdue University Northwest and bachelor’s degree in nursing with a minor in psychology from Purdue University, West Lafayette. Jolene has been affiliated with the Powers Health network since 2002 as a medical staff member.

Jolene has a strong clinical nursing background in critical care and cardiovascular nursing with recent experience in outpatient heart failure and diabetes clinics. She came to Hartsfield in 2014 with over 13 years of experience in general family practice.

Jolene not only brings to Hartsfield Village her strong clinical background, but has a compassionate yet holistic approach to serve as an advocate for her patients. She plays an integral role in the patient’s plan of care, by easing the transition from hospital to the rehabilitation care setting and assisting in the coordination of a seamless discharge back to the patient’s home environment. Jolene collaborates with the primary care physicians and serves as a liaison between the physicians, clinical team and the patient/family.

 

ahmed sharifA family medicine physician, Sharif was appointed medical director for Hartsfield Village in November 2021. Under his direction, the Rehabilitation Center at Hartsfield Village strives to meet every patient’s needs and preferences, focusing on quality care and recovery.

Sharif also serves as the Medical Director for Alliance Health Partners and is on staff at Community Hospital in Munster. He received his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed a residency in Family Medicine at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. 

Sharif specializes in both hospital and post-acute care settings. He was born in Chicago and is a lifelong Chicago Bulls and Chicago Bears fan. In his free time, he enjoys playing basketball, reading, and spending time with his wife and three energetic young boys.
